Rhyto Studio terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rhyto Studio and the artist, team, music, lyrics, catalogue and account-management tools made available through the service and its apps.

Effective 5 September 2026 · Last updated 5 September 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

Rhyto Studio is a product and service operated by Boda Dudu Technologies Limited. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Boda Dudu Technologies Limited. By creating an account, accessing Rhyto Studio or using any Studio feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Rhyto Studio on behalf of an artist, label, management company, team or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to act for that person or organisation and to bind them to these Terms where applicable.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Rhyto Studio.

2. What Rhyto Studio provides

Rhyto Studio is an artist and catalogue management service. Depending on your account, artist access and permissions, Studio may allow you to:

  • claim or request access to an artist profile;
  • manage authorised artist-team members and permissions;
  • submit singles, albums, audio, artwork and related music metadata;
  • add, review or request changes to lyrics;
  • request updates to artist profiles, songs, albums and catalogue information;
  • request creation of a new artist profile;
  • review Studio activity, request history and status information; and
  • manage account, session, device and security settings.

Features may vary by platform, account type, artist permission, region, review status or stage of product development.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except to the extent that activity results from a failure on our part.

You must keep passwords, recovery information, passkeys, two-factor authentication credentials and signed-in devices secure. Do not share authentication credentials with people who should instead have their own Studio account or team invitation.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account, artist access or Studio credentials have been compromised. We may require verification or security steps before restoring access or carrying out a sensitive account action.

4. Artist claims and authority

You may only claim, manage or submit changes for an artist when you are the artist or have genuine authority to act for that artist.

When Studio asks for a proof link, document, message or other evidence, you must provide information that is genuine, current and relevant to the requested access. You must not impersonate an artist, representative, label or team member or submit altered or misleading proof.

Artist access can be reviewed, rejected, limited or revoked where we reasonably believe the required authority has not been established, has ended, was obtained through misleading information, or presents a security or rights risk.

5. Team access and permissions

Studio may allow authorised users to invite other people to an artist team and assign roles or permissions. The person granting access is responsible for choosing appropriate team members and permissions.

A team member must use only the access granted to them and must not attempt to bypass permission limits. Access may be removed when a team relationship ends, an invitation is cancelled, an account is suspended or the underlying artist authority changes.

6. Music, artwork, lyrics and other content you submit

You retain whatever ownership rights you already hold in content you submit to Rhyto Studio. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your music, recordings, artwork, lyrics, profile material, proof documents or other creator content to Boda Dudu Technologies Limited.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, process, convert, transmit and display submitted content only as reasonably necessary to operate Rhyto Studio, review and fulfil your requests, maintain the Rhyto catalogue/service, provide requested features, protect the service and comply with law.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and metadata you provide and to instruct us to process it for the requested Studio purpose. This includes any necessary authority relating to recordings, compositions, lyrics, artwork, names, likenesses, contributor information and other materials contained in your submission.

Do not upload material simply because you can access it. Studio is intended for authorised artist and catalogue work. You are responsible for ensuring that your submission does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights.

7. Submissions, requests and review decisions

Sending a request through Rhyto Studio does not guarantee approval, publication, correction, processing time or continued availability of the requested content. Claims, new-artist requests, music submissions, album submissions, lyrics requests and catalogue/profile changes may be reviewed before they are accepted.

We may ask for additional information, reject incomplete or unsupported requests, correct obvious technical problems, or refuse a request that conflicts with catalogue integrity, security, applicable law, third-party rights or Studio rules.

Where a submission has not yet been finalised, Studio may provide editing or deletion controls. Once information has been approved, synchronised, published or incorporated into catalogue history, later changes may require a new request rather than direct editing.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Rhyto Studio to:

  • impersonate another person or falsely claim authority over an artist;
  • upload content or proof you do not have a right to submit;
  • submit intentionally false, deceptive or materially inaccurate catalogue information;
  • harass, threaten, defraud or unlawfully interfere with another artist, user or team;
  • introduce malware, malicious files, automated abuse or harmful code;
  • probe, bypass or defeat authentication, permissions, rate limits, security controls or access restrictions;
  • scrape, reverse engineer or automate access to Studio in a manner that harms the service or violates applicable law, except where a legal right cannot be restricted;
  • use Studio for unlawful activity or to violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights; or
  • interfere with the normal operation, integrity or availability of Rhyto Studio.

9. Rhyto Studio software and intellectual property

Rhyto Studio, including its software, interface, original design elements, Rhyto branding, service documentation and platform technology, is owned by or licensed to Boda Dudu Technologies Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Rhyto Studio for its intended artist and catalogue-management purposes. This does not grant you ownership of Studio software or branding.

10. App stores and third-party services

Rhyto Studio may rely on third-party infrastructure or platform services for functions such as hosting, security verification, email, push notifications and app distribution. Your use of an app-store account, operating system or third-party platform can also be subject to that provider’s own terms.

These Terms govern the Rhyto Studio service. They do not replace mandatory terms imposed by Microsoft, Apple, Google or another platform where those separate terms apply.

11. Suspension, restriction and termination

We may temporarily restrict or suspend an account, session, device, artist permission or specific Studio feature where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, respond to a rights dispute, comply with law or enforce these Terms.

Serious or repeated violations may result in removal of artist access or termination of the Studio account, subject to applicable law and any review process we choose or are required to provide.

Ending Studio access does not automatically erase catalogue history, approved submissions, security records or information that we are permitted or required to retain. Personal-data handling after account closure is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Rhyto Studio available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, infrastructure incidents, security events, third-party outages or product changes can temporarily affect availability.

We may add, change, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to develop, secure or operate Studio. Where a change materially affects an important user right or obligation, we will provide notice where appropriate.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Rhyto Studio is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make warranties that Studio will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every particular business purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boda Dudu Technologies Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss arising from use of Studio, including lost profits or business opportunities, where such liability may lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights or remedies that applicable consumer, data-protection or other mandatory law gives you.

You are responsible for claims, losses or reasonable costs resulting from content you knowingly submit without the required rights or from deliberate misuse of Studio, except to the extent caused by us or where applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without excluding any mandatory rights you may have under the law of another jurisdiction that applies to you.

Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent or legally available relief where necessary.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Studio features, business practices, legal requirements or platform relationships change. The “Last updated” date will be changed when we revise the Terms.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice through Studio, email or another appropriate channel. Continuing to use Studio after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent.
